PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording and reproducing device, in which every user can easily select a program recorded by himself/herself even when a number of programs to be recorded or number of users is increased. SOLUTION: Information for identifying a user is recorded on a recording medium 11 together with information on a program and when reproducing and deleting the program, the list of such user identification information is displayed on a user identification information display part 15a. On the basis of the identification information of a user selected out of this list by a user selecting part 15b, the information of programs recorded on the recording medium 11 by this user is searched and the list of such programs is displayed.
