PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dispersion of a floating quantity by uniformizing the thickness of adhesives for adhering a gimbal and a slider in a magnetic disk device provided with floating magnetic head. SOLUTION: A projection 41 is formed on the surface of a gimbal 40 facing the slider of a magnetic head. Between these slider and gimbal 40, setting resins are interposed as adhesives and the slider and the gimbal 40 are little pressed and adhered. At such a time, by controlling the pressure between the slider and the gimbal 40, the thickness of setting resins between the slider and the gimbal 40 can be uniformized by the projection 41.
