PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and easily manufactured card edge connector, capable of easily inserted/removed, with no waste metal occurring during inserting/removing operation. SOLUTION: There are provided a connector body 6 and a conductor pad 5. The conductor pad 5 extends from the end of tip of the connector body 6 and terminates when proceeding by a prescribed distance. A protecting pad 2 is further provided which is collectively formed, adjoining the end of the conductor pad 5, in a post-work process for a wiring pattern.
