PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unexpected Web time out to allow a sure business processing by Web by reporting the Web time out (Http session time out) in the processing of a Web application such as online shopping, and allowing a user to change the time-out time. SOLUTION: This system comprises an application system (server) 30 for providing an application service through a network 20 and a client 10 for receiving the providing the application service through the network 20. The application system (server) 30 transmits a program for generating a window for displaying the information related to the time-out of the Web session in the application service to the client 10, and the client 10 displays the window on the basis of the received program.
