PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information terminal which is light-weight and is easy to operate, and can cope with both of poling and voluntary information and can inform the user of its dynamic state. SOLUTION: A position information terminal is provided with an LED, corresponding to each dynamic state. A plurality of LEDs are lighted in turn, according to the operation (303) of a mode button. A carrier quits the operation of the mode button, in a stage where an LED corresponding to the set dynamic state is lighted. The position information terminal transmits the information, including the information about the dynamic state corresponding to a lit LED by radio, when it receives a poling (307) or when the call button is operated (306). The dynamic state can be set by only the repeated operation of the mode button, and the voluntary information can be started by only the operation of the call button. It only needs several pieces of buttons and LEDs, and there is no need to provide a display such as an LCD having many buttons or keys.
