PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select the concentration of syrup and the strength of carbonic acid according to the user' taste in a vending machine in which beverage of syrup diluted with carbonated water or cold water is served in a cup. SOLUTION: The vending machine is provided with a button 16 by which the user can select the concentration of syrup or the strength of carbonic acid. The concentration of syrup or the strength of carbonic acid according to the button 16 can be set in a RAM 11 by a keyboard 15. When syrup beverage is sold, beverage in a cup with the concentration of syrup or the strength of carbonic acid according to the pushed button 16 is served.
