PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of surely and easily supporting a protection circuit board 3 even if a contact of an installed apparatus presses a battery pack terminal 3b, by bringing a cover material 3a covering the surface of the circuit board 3 into contact with a cell 2. SOLUTION: In the battery pack, the cell 2 and the circuit board 3 connected a positive electrode battery terminal and a negative electrode battery terminal 2b of the cell 2 are housed adjacently to each other in battery pack cases 1, 1. The battery pack is so structured that the cover material 3a covering mounted components on the surface of the circuit board 3 is formed in a thickness so as to abut on a side face of the cell 2 housed adjacently to it in the cases 1, 1.
