PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device advantageous for achieving a high density by easily adjusting the relative positions of an objective lens and a disk according to an assembled optical pickup device, and a method for assembling the same. SOLUTION: A rail surface 1804 constituting an air bearing surface is formed in the slider 18 of an optical pickup 8. In each of two attaching parts of the slider 18, a first attaching surface 1806 is formed to constitute a tapered surface inclined with respect to the disk surface of a disk. In the two attaching parts of an objective lens plate 19, two second attaching surfaces 1906 are formed to constitute tapered surfaces inclined in a direction opposite the first attaching surface. Each of the second attaching surfaces 1906 is laid over the first attaching surface 1806, and slid in the stacked state. |
