PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate excessive electronic parts by confirming whether or not a first electronic part arrives at the just-before position of a part take-out position when a carrier tape is successively sent out and set to an electronic part supply device. SOLUTION: Before a carrier tape C is successively sent out at a pitch of 4 mm and is set to an electronic part supply device 1, a screw 55A in a slot 59A of a fixing plate 59 in a device frame 2 is first loosened, and a rightmost fitting hole 2A and the slot 59 are aligned with each other and the screws 55A and 55B are fastened to secure the fixing plate 59 to the device frame 2, thereby adjusting the opening end position of a shutter 61 at a pitch of 4 mm to send out the carrier tape C successively for setting. Therefore, while sending out the carrier tape C, it can be confirmed by means of the check window 64 of the shutter 61 whether or not any electronic part exists at the just-before position of a part take-out position S when the shutter 61 opens, in a state where no electronic part exists at the part take-out position S.
