PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact suction nozzle unit and an electronic part mounting device equipped with a plurality of suction nozzle units. SOLUTION: In this electronic part mounting device, an electronic part is picked up and mounted on a substrate by a transfer head 9 provided with a plurality of suction nozzle units. A rotation control means is provided for controlling the rotation of a feed screw 23 for elevating the suction tool in each suction nozzle unit while permitting the elevation of the screw 23. The means is constituted of a bearing 60 provided on a holding member 27 connected with the screw 23 and a vertical guide groove 61a wherewith the bearing 60 engages. Guide members 61A, 61B wherein the guide grooves 61a are provided are arranged outside the nozzle units, as measured from the central line CL of the head 9. The design enables a plurality of suction nozzle units to be compactly incorporated into a single transfer head 9.
