摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lead-acid battery capable of securing a sufficient size of a welded part while preventing resin softening of a cover without having a non-fused part or the like in the welded part, in welding an electrode post to a bushing. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a lead-acid battery, firstly the electrode post formed of a lead alloy is inserted into a lead-alloy bushing formed on the battery cover. When the electrode post is welded to the bushing, flux is applied to the bushing inside surface and the circumferential part of the electrode post excluding its tip part and thereafter they are welded together. By starting welding from the tip part of the electrode post at that time, a good welded part without having a non-welded part or softening of the cover resin can be provided. More preferably, TIG welding is used at that time.</p>
