PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method of the tea consisting of the herbal galenical materials to have an efficacy for improving the forgetfulness and clear the brain. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of the tea comprises a step of mixing eleven kinds of galenical materials consisting of Poria Cocos WOLF, Polygala tenuifolia WILLD, licorice root, a sweet flag, ginseng, Cimicifuga heracleifolia KOM., the root of an arrowroot, hedysarum, Vitex rotundifolia L. fil, Pheonia lactiflora PALL and Phellodendron amurense RUPR. according to Korean Meditation Guide Book, washing and slicing it; a step of steaming the mixed galenical materials under the pressure of 0.5 kg/cm¬2 at the temperature of 120 deg.C for 30 minutes to 2 hours; a step of drying the steamed galenical materials to a moisture content of 20 to 40%; a step of parching the dried galenical materials at the temperature of 80 to 90 deg.C for 5 to 20 minutes; and a step of grinding the parched galenical materials to the mean particle size of 0.1 to 1 mm and drying it to a moisture content of less than 10%.
