PURPOSE: A rapidly expansive metal mixture comprising metal powder, non-nitrate metal salt, and oil or inorganic antiseptic is provided, which enables long term storage, decreases accidents caused by scattering of exploded pieces, and saves manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: The rapidly expansive metal mixture is obtained by adding oil or inorganic antiseptic to the mixture of metal powder and metal salt(excluding metal nitrates) in a weight ratio of 0.1-99.9 : 99.9-0.1. The metal powder is one of Al, Na, K, Li, Mg, Ca, Mn, etc. The metal salt excluding metal nitrate is one or more of metal oxide(Mn3O4, CaO, TiO2, MnO2, etc.), metal hydroxide(LiOH, KOH, NaOH, Ca(OH)2, etc.), metal carbonate(Li2CO3, K2CO3, NaCO3, CaCO3, etc.), and metal sulfate(K2SO4, Li2SO4, Na2SO4, CaSO4, etc.). The oil or inorganic antiseptic is gasoline, petroleum, paraffin, castor oil, etc.
