PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent addresses from being exhausted by reducing the number of newly issued MAC addresses required for communication as far as possible while enabling communication with many slaves exceeding the limited number of communicative slaves. SOLUTION: A master issues an inquiry command by broadcasting at the initialization, grasps the attributes of slaves generating new participation requests by answer commands from the slaves concerned, establishes communication connection with a specific slave out of the slaves generating new participation requests, and provides a MAC address to the slave concerned when a MAC address server in the master or an optional slave carries out MAC address distribution processing. Then the master turns the slave concerned to a sleep state and sequentially repeats the same processing for other slaves generating the new participation requests so as to add all the slaves generating the new participation requests to network members. |
