PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a thermal shut-down temperature according to the operating conditions and environmental conditions of a motor driver installed in such equipment as printer and image scanner. SOLUTION: The motor driver 11 incorporates a thermal shut-down circuit 112. The motor driver 11 is provided with a thermal shut-down temperature setting circuit 1123 which is used to input shut-down temperature information corresponding to thermal shut-down characteristics to set a thermal shut-down temperature.
