PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image compositing device capable of obtaining a composited image of an excellent wide dynamic range by adaptively performing detection and correction of shakes of a hand or a subject. SOLUTION: The image compositing device comprises a blurring detection section 61 for detecting a blurring between a plurality of pictures a and b with different exposure due to which shake of a subject or shake or a hand, a subject shake correction processing section 63 for correcting the shake of a subject to composite the plurality of pictures with different exposure amounts, a hand shake correction processing section 62 for correcting the shake of a hand to composite the plurality of pictures having different exposure, and switch means 64-1, 64-2 for switching between the sections 63 and 62 on the basis of a shake detecting signal from the section 61. With this constitution, the device forms a composited image having a wide dynamic range. |
