<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely diagnose the deterioration of a battery correlated to vehicle control in a motor-driven battery. SOLUTION: The I/O electrical energy of the battery is detected based on the I/O electric energy of a motor generator. A varianceΔSOC in a battery charging level until the I/O electrical energy of the battery reaches a prescribed value (e.g., maximum output multiplied by maximum time (Kwsec) that a vehicle ensures) is detected. If a varianceΔSOC in the detected battery charging level exceeds a prescribed determination value, the battery is determined as having been deteriorated (determination 1). If the ratio of the varianceΔSOC in the battery charging level to the I/O electrical energy of the battery exceeds the prescribed determination value, the battery is determined as having deteriorated (determination 2).</p> |
