PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method capable of manufacturing an electrode for a battery wherein dispersion of a keeping quantity of active material paste is small and to provide a new manufacturing device used for it. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes (i) a process for forming a sheet 23 comprising a support body 21 and paste supported by the support body 21, and (ii) a process for catching and pressing the sheet 23 by first and second rolls 25 and 26 rotating in a direction opposite to the travelling direction of the sheet 23.
