PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter circuit that sufficiently removes ripples in a signal related to an image signal and follows rapid change of the state of the image signal at a high speed in an image device. SOLUTION: A filter circuit 1 that filters a signal having specified relation to the image signal comprises a clamp means 11 that clamps a voltage signal, having ripples relative to a period of a image synchronization signal contained in the image signal, with a specified clamp level, and outputs it when the image synchronization signal is detected; and a subtracting means 12 that subtracts the ripple content of an output signal of the clamp means 11 from the voltage signal.
