METHOD FOR RESTORING DATA OF ASYMMETRIC DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE MULTIPLEXER

PURPOSE: A method for restoring data of an asymmetric digital subscriber line multiplexer is provided to efficiently restore data by using a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) socket. CONSTITUTION: An RMCA(Remote Multiplexing and Control board Assembly)(411) is restarted due to a trouble of the RMCA(411) and the restarting and initialization are reported to a network manager(409). The network manager(409) retrieves recovery data from a database for transmitting the retrieved recovery data to the RMCA(411). The RMCA(411) restores connection setting/traffic profile information and restores connection setting/traffic profile information of lower rank RSAA(413) managed by the RMCA(411) by using the recovery data received from the network manager(409).
