PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a reserved message of a telephone system is provided to transmit the message at an appointed time, thereby improving the convenience of a telephone. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether a message making function is set up in a telephone presently(S1-S2). If not, a general telephone mode is executed(S3). If so, a message is made according to a menu set in the telephone(S4). It is judged whether a message appointment transmission function is set up presently(S5). If so, an appointment transmission time of the presently made message is set up and counting appointment time is started(S6). It is judged whether the present time reaches the transmission appointment time(S7). If so, the made message is transmitted at the appointed time through a PSTN network(S8).
