PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing plating powder such as zinc powder inevitably generated on the edge part of the strip during manufacturing of electrogalvanized strip is provided. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for removing plating powder generated on the edge of electroplated strip (10), the apparatus comprises a header (40) installed at both sides of transfer path (P) of the electroplated strip (10) and fixed to the lower part of a slide unit (20) that is installed so that the slide unit (20) is varied according to width of the strip (10); a plural driving members (50) vertically mounted in a length direction of the header (40); and a powder removing means (70) which is closely adhered to the edge part of the strip on the transfer path (P) with being connectingly fixed to the lower part of the driving members (50) so as to remove plating powder on the edge of the strip during driving of the driving members (50), and which is formed in a plurality of shapes so as to increase removing property of powder on the edge of the strip.
