PURPOSE: A video communication terminal having laser beam outputting function is provided to point at a target view placed behind the terminal with laser beam to capture a desired target more easily and rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A video communication terminal having a rotatable camera includes a laser beam outputting unit(100) for outputting laser beam behind the terminal, and a laser beam outputting unit driver(200) for driving the laser beam outputting unit to generate the laser beam. The video communication terminal further includes a camera rotation detector(300) for detecting the direction of the camera, and a controller(400) for controlling the laser beam outputting unit driver according to the detected direction of the camera to control output of the laser beam.
