PURPOSE: A diesel particulate filter is provided to effectively reduce NOx and particulate matter of diesel engine exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A diesel particulate filter comprises a filter(20) on which unit cells having open surfaces and closed rear surfaces are stacked into plural layers in horizontal and vertical directions so as to cause a wall flow; a ceramic plate(30) mounted at the top and bottom surfaces of the filter, which guides exhaust gas to the rearward direction; and an electrode(40) formed on and beneath the filter by depositing a metal component, and applied with a predetermined AC power.
