PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of curtailing the capacity of a raster block converting memory without lowering a processing speed. SOLUTION: When image data from an image processing means 12 is stored from a temporarily storing means B13 to a memory 4, a smoothing means R18 is constituted with a buffer memory to suppress a temporal variance of a data rate of accessing to the memory 4. When image data from the image processing means 12 is stored from a temporarily storing means C14 to the memory 4, a smoothing means M19 is constituted with the buffer memory to suppress a temporal variance of a data rate of accessing to the memory 4. The smoothing means R18 and the smoothing means M19 hold an average data rate, and simultaneously lower a maximum data rate of each means, whereby the total data rate of each means is suppressed within a bus width of the memory 4 and a simultaneous processing of each means can be carries out.
