PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a local oscillator, used for a transmission power control device of radio equipment. SOLUTION: The transmission power control device of radio equipment for converting a transmission signal into a signal of a prescribed frequency and outputting the signal comprises a modulator 11 for modulating a transmission signal into an IF signal, a D/A converter 13 for converting an IF signal outputted from the modulator 11 into an analog signal, a frequency variable oscillator 12 for outputting a sampling signal to the converter 13 and adjusting the frequency of the sampling signal, a mixer 16 for converting the frequency of the IF signal outputted from the converter 13, and a local oscillator 15 for outputting the frequency signal for converting the frequencies to the mixer 16 and converting the signal outputted from the mixer 16 into the signal with the prescribed frequency along with frequency modulation of the sampling signal. The oscillator 12 performs fine adjustment of the frequency of radio equipment output signal, and the oscillator 15 is used for coarse adjustment.
