PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell, capable of solving a problem of a conventional separator serving as a component of a solid high polymer type fuel cell, wherein a fuel gas supply plate having a fuel gas supply groove and a water supply groove and an oxidizer supply plate having an oxidizer gas supply groove and a water supply groove are bonded by an adhesive or cement comprising graphite powder and a binder, and a contact resistance is high because a contact surface is bonded by the adhesive. SOLUTION: The fuel gas supply plate and the oxidizer gas supply plate are both formed by a mixture of a graphite particle and a thermoplastic resin, and the surface of the water supply groove is bonded by ultrasonic welding. Thereby, the separator for the fuel cell having a small contact resistance on its contact surface is obtained. |
