PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the water-proof effect of a linking part, to facilitate assembly and to reduce production costs in electronic equipment such as folding portable telephone set having the foldable linking part. SOLUTION: In a linking part 8 of a folding portable telephone set 2, infrared modules 5 and 7 are provided on substrates 4 and 6 and electrical signals are exchanged between the substrates by the infrared signals of the infrared modules. Thus, a flexible substrate conventionally used for connecting substrates is not required, an assembly process can be simplified, a gap or space for passing the flexible substrate is not required and the water-proof effect in the linking part is improved. |
