<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component that can prevent lead wires bound around pin terminals from being cut, when grounding parts are attached to the component, and the pin terminals from floating, when the component is mounted on a printed board. SOLUTION: A transformer is constituted, by winding a winding around a coil bobbin 1 having the pin terminals 3 planted on the pin terminal planting sections of the bobbin 1 and incorporating a core 2 in the bobbin 1, and then jointing the pin terminals 3 to the core 2 by means of grounding parts 4. A recessed section 1a is provided on the side face of each pin terminal planting section parallel to the planting direction of the pin terminal 3, so that the front end of the terminal 3 is exposed. At the same time, a U-shaped section having a notched section 4c, which is jointed to the front end section of the pin terminal 3, is provided in one front end section 4a of each grounding parts 4 and the front end section of the pin terminal 3 is jointed to the core 2 by means of the parts 4.</p> |
