摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk driving mechanism and a disk reproducing device using the same in which miniaturization is enabled by reducing a number of parts in drive connection/disconnection without a flaw on the surface of a disk. SOLUTION: In the driving mechanism for carrying in and carrying out a disk 11 and for sliding an optical pickup 156, this mechanism is provided with a driving source 82 for generating a driving power, a first driving power transmitting path 81 to be driven by this driving source for loading the disk 11, a second driving power transmitting route 140 to be driven by the driving source 82 for sliding the optical pickup 156, a cam mechanism 180 for switching whether or not the driving power is to be transmitted on the first driving power transmitting route 81, and a drive transmission switching mechanism 125 for switching whether or not the driving power is to be transmitted to the second driving power transmitting path 140. Further, in the cam mechanism 180 and the driving power transmission switching mechanism 125, whether or not the driving power is to be transmitted is switched by turning a common rotary member 120.
