PURPOSE: An apparatus for blocking generation of flame on mini ascension pipe is provided to block flame from belching out to the mini ascension pipe as gas of the chamber is being emitted from coke oven chamber to the mini ascension pipe even when opening lid of the mini ascension pipe. CONSTITUTION: In a mini ascension pipe of coke oven on which lid for blocking the inside of the mini ascension pipe from the outside thereof is mounted, the apparatus comprises a protrusion part projected in a circular shape on an entrance part of the mini ascension pipe; a damper shaft; a circular damper plate (205) fixed to the lower part of the damper shaft and contacted with the lower part of the protrusion part of the mini ascension pipe; a damper support (203) which is equipped with circular ring fixed to the upper part of the protrusion part of the mini ascension pipe and cross bar connected to the ring and shaft, and which is inserted into the shaft so that the damper support (203) is moved along the shaft; a spring (202) adhered to the upper part of the damper support (203) and inserted centering around the shaft; and an upper plate adhered to the upper part of the spring (202) in a circular shape, wherein the damper plate touches the protrusion part to prevent outflow of gas as the damper plate is being pushed to the outside by the internal gas pressure in case that the lid is opened, and wherein the apparatus further comprises an opener shaft (305), a touch plate (306), an opener support (304), and an opener weight plate. |
