PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of performing the location certainly when unit cells are to be laminated and facilitating the determination of any defective part. SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1 is formed by laminating unit cells 2 each structured so that a film electrode structure 6 formed from a solid highpolymer electrolyte film 3 and a pair of electrodes 4 and 5 pinching the electrode film is held pinchedly by a pair of separators 7 and 8. Each separator has a rectangular outside shape, and adjoining two edges of the separators are furnished with projections 15-17 and 18-20, respectively, so that location can be made at least in three places. |
