<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the addition and deletion of fields, and process various types of form of different formats. SOLUTION: A form definition table 12 storing form definition information necessary for recognizing the types of form 2, a field control table 13 storing tag information showing the names of the fields of the form 2, a tag name table 14 storing information on the tag names, and a read result file 16 storing the results of reading from the form 2 are used to correspond the fields to the tag names of the form 2 read by an image scanner device 3 for character recognition. Then the tag names are added to the front and rear of the character recognition results, the added tag names are stored in the read result file 16, and the editing of the character recognition results is performed by using the tag names.</p> |
