<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, etc., for simplifying clerical procedures regarding support for medical expenses. SOLUTION: A medical expense charging system 1 is provided with a medical cost data base 11 for storing medical cost data, a subscriber data base 12 storing pieces of personal information of subscribers of health insurance, a support data base 13 storing pieces of information regarding administrative support for the medical costs and a charging processing part 14. The charging processing part 14 judges the presence or absence of qualification of the subscribers as recipients of subsidy by referring to the subscriber data base 12. When the subscribers have the qualification as the recipients, amount of the subsidy and a subject (the nation or a local government, etc.), are specified by referring to the support data base 13. The charging processing part 14 charges the medical expenses to insurers, the subscribers, the nation or the local government, etc., to bear the medical expenses.</p> |
