PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device which is high in positional accuracy in mounting a solid-state image pickup element, can stably operate the solid-state image pickup element at a predetermined temperature, and can easily be assembled. SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device 1 includes a color dividing prism 10 for dividing the incidental light L10 from a light receiving plane into the light L1, L2, L3 of color components and outputting the light from a light output plane; solid-state image pickup elements 21, 22, 23 for photoelectrically transferring light of each color component; cooling blocks 41, 42, 43 for absorbing heat of each of the solid-state image pickup elements; a casing cover 4 for radiating heat of each cooling block to the outside; plastic deformable and cylindrical thermal conductive members 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, one end of which is connected to one of side panels of the casing cover and the other end of which extends in substantial parallel to a normal direction of the side panel to be inserted into inside of each cooling block. At least one of the thermal conductive members extended from the different side panel is connected to the one cooling block. |
