PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close system with enhanced convenience and ease of installation. SOLUTION: The open/close system provided with an open/close apparatus to activate an open/close body in response to a control signal from a prescribed control means, is provided with a first communication interface means that provides a first communication interface associated with the operation of the open/close body and with a second communication interface means that provides a second communication interface associated with the operation of the open/ close body, and the first communication interface means has a first relay section that relays communication between the second communication interface means and the control means.
