PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry on process control continuously even when any abnormality is caused. SOLUTION: This process controller applies the request of a monitoring device 2 received through a control LAN 3 by a network interface 10 to each of three controllers 20, and outputs one response to be decided by majority from among responses from those three controllers 20 to the request to the control LAN 3 in order to reply to the monitoring device 2. In this case, each of three controllers 20 performs an arithmetic operation to the request applied from the network interface 10, and outputs a response to the request to the network interface 10, and outputs the arithmetic result as control data to the process equipment interface 30. The process equipment interface 30 outputs one control data to be decided by majority from among control data from those three controllers 20 to an I0 but 5 so that process equipment 4 can be controlled.
