PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net switch with which a net type communication facility makes communication on the occurrence of a power failure. SOLUTION: An RJ-45 connector 37 logs in to a connecting port of a net switch main body having basic lines for packet switching and the connecting port, and is also connected to a connection base of the net type communication facility. A power supply control circuit 30 is plugged into the RJ-45 connector 37 and connected to a connection base of the corresponding net type communication facility by the RJ-45 connector 37 and a double twist wire 38. A signal with a fixed high frequency caused from the power supply control circuit 30 is sent to the net type communication facility via a pin. The net switch receives the signal sent from the net type communication facility and supplies power to the net type communication facility via the pin and the double twist wire 38. Thus, on the occurrence of a power failure, the net type communication facility can communicate with the net switch. |
