PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage resource operation managing system that satisfies a performance request for a storage resource and can provide an optimal storage resource. SOLUTION: A storage network comprises a node for transmitting an access request to a storage via the network and a plurality of storages for receiving the access request and executing request contents. Networked distances from the node to the storage resources are obtained, physical distances between respective storage resources are obtained, or the networked distances and the physical distances are both obtained. In obtaining requests for each other and selecting a storage resource, a range of the obtained request is inputted into a selection factor and the storage resource is selected. |
