PURPOSE: A schedule managing method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to effectively manage a schedule such as periodically repeated anniversaries. CONSTITUTION: A controller checks whether there is a registered schedule(201). If there is a registered schedule, the controller checks whether the registered schedule is a repeated schedule(203). If the registered schedule is the repeated schedule, the controller compares a current time with a month, date, hour data set as an alarm time of the repeated schedule(205). If the current time is identical to the month, date, hour data(207), the controller searches and compares the stored repeated schedule information and a phone number list(209). The controller checks whether there is a name on the phone number list identical to the repeated schedule information(211). If there is a name identical to the repeated schedule information, the controller checks whether there is a phone number of a mobile communication terminal among phone numbers of the identical name(213). If there is a phone number of the mobile communication terminal, the controller generates an alarm sound and displays the phone number related to the name identical to the repeated schedule information and a short message generation menu. The controller checks whether the user selects the short message generation menu(217), and if so, the controller sets a short message generation mode, generates a short message according to a user's input, and transmits it to the phone number of the mobile communication terminal(219). The controller checks whether the date information of the repeated schedule is stored according to the lunar calendar(229), and if so, the controller calculates the date information of the repeated schedule to a solar calendar of the next year and stores it(231).
