METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING FINGERPRINT BY USING BAR CODE

PURPOSE: A fingerprint recognition method is provided to extract user data by matching colors of read fingerprint data with divided bar code areas. CONSTITUTION: The method is different from a conventional fingerprint shape recognition method in extracting positions of colors, i.e, a black and a white, in digital signal data. One dimensional bar code is extended into two dimensional one, and the colors of the fingerprint lines detected by a sensor is matched with a preset two dimensional bar code. The matched fingerprint line data itself is digital and processed so that it can avoid extracting feature points in the conventional method.
