PURPOSE: A nozzle of continuous casting machine is provided to increase productivity of casting operation and produce continuous cast articles of high quality by covering thus protecting the broken part with inert gas so that casting operation is extended to the end of casting operation. CONSTITUTION: In a shroud nozzle or submerged entry nozzle in which liquid metal is flown to perform continuous casting operation in continuous casting machine, the nozzle of the continuous casting machine is characterized in that double cooling pipes (15,20) made of a pipe in which inert gas is movable are arranged at a cylindrical main body, and the main body is formed by molding a refractory material (22) for suppressing chemical reaction with mold flux or mold powder onto the cooling pipes (15,20) so that additional breakage of the main body is prevented by protecting the main body with inert gas emitted from the cooling pipes (15,20) when a part of the main body is eroded during continuous casting, wherein a metallic mesh functioning as a spacer is arranged between the cooling pipes (15,20) so that a certain distance is maintained between the cooling pipes (15,20) if cylindrical net shaped cooling pipes (15,20) are inserted to each other, and wherein the cooling pipes (15,20) are formed of a metal pipe having good elongation selected from aluminum, copper or steel pipe so that the cooling pipes (15,20) are easily bent and woven in a net structure.
