PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of automatically adjusting the phase and/or the pulse width of various clock signals used for driving an image pickup means and for controlling operation timing of a signal processing means to optimal values, and to provide an adjusting method thereof and an adjusting value setting program. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with an image pickup means 2 for converting an optical image taken through an image pickup lens into an electric signal, a signal processing means for processing electric signals outputted from the means 2, a clock signal supplying means 9 for supplying a driving clock signal for driving the means 2 and a signal processing clock signal for controlling operation timing of the means 3 to the means 2 and 3 respectively, a detecting means 7 for detecting noise components of an image signal, and a control means 8 for setting adjusting value of the phases and/or pulse widths of the driving clock signal and the signal processing clock signal on the basis of the noise components to be detected and transmitting the set values to the means 9.
