PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device which has superior shock resistance by having its piezoelectric vibrating piece tightly fixed even when made small- sized, and a portable telephone set and electronic equipment which use the device. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device having a package 36 in which the piezoelectric vibrating piece 32 is fixed in a cantilever state and stored in an internal space S and a lid body which is fixed to this package has two electrode parts 31 and 31 which are provided in one end area at the inside bottom part of the package 36 and divided along the width of the package, and is equipped with a joining structure so coated with a conductive adhesive as to come into contact with side walls 47 and 47 in the inside space of the package 36, the two electrode parts 31 and 31, and a base part 51 of the piezoelectric vibrating piece.
