<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To entirely restrain temperature dispersion in a plurality of battery module groups. SOLUTION: This battery type power unit 1 has a cooling air introduction port 3 on its one end face and is provided with a box 2 having a suction fan 4 in the other end part, and a battery assembly 5 installed in the middle part in the box 2. The battery aggregation 5 comprises a plurality of battery module groups 61 -65 . The respective battery module groups 61 -65 are composed of a plurality of rod-like battery modules 7. When it is assumed that a clearance between the circumferential surfaces of both rod-like battery modules 7 adjacent to each other of the first battery module group 61 closest to the introduction port 3 is (a), and a clearance between both circumferential surfaces of the battery module 7 of the module group 61 and the battery module 7 of the second battery module group 62 adjacent to it is (b), the ratio a/b of both the clearances (a) and (b) is so set as to satisfy 1.0<a/b<=2.0.</p> |
