<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable computer which a user or the like is able to use with his or her hands free. SOLUTION: This portable computer to be used for interfacing to a process control system 10 having a host system is provided with a housing adapted for hand-held operation, a processing unit disposed within the housing, and a computer readable memory disposed within the housing and coupled to the processing unit. Also, the portable computer is provided with a display, a keypad, and a radio frequency transceiver adapted to communicate with the host system, all of which are disposed within the housing and communicatively coupled to the processing unit.</p> |
