PURPOSE: A rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition is provided, to improve the impact strength, the processability and the flame retardancy by improving the heat resistance of a rubber-modified styrene-based resin and by reducing the amount of a nonhalogenated flame retardant. CONSTITUTION: The rubber-modified styrene-based resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber-modified styrene-based resin comprising 10-50 wt% of a rubber-modified styrene-containing graft copolymer, 20-70 wt% of a heat resistant copolymer, and 20-70 wt% of a styrene-containing copolymer; and 3-15 parts by weight of an aromatic phosphate comprising 10-70 wt% of an aromatic monophosphate and 10-70 wt% of an aromatic diphosphate, as a nonhalogenated flame retardant. Preferably the aromatic monophosphate is at least one selected from the group consisting of halogen-unsubstituted trimethyl phosphate, triethyl phosphate, tributyl phosphate, trioctyl phosphate, triphenyl phosphate, tricresyl phosphate, trixylenyl phosphate, cresyl diphenyl phosphate and octyldiphenyl phosphate; and the aromatic diphosphate is represented by the formula 1, wherein Ar1 to Ar4 are a phenyl group, or an aryl group substituted with 1-3 alkyl groups of C1-C4; R is a phenyl group or a bisphenol A; and n 4 or 5. |
