RUBBING FABRIC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A rubbing fabric and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to prevent defects generated in a rubbing process and improve optical characteristics of the liquid crystal display device by increasing strength of the rubbing. CONSTITUTION: A rubbing fabric(600) is formed by crossing a plurality of warps(2) and a plurality of wefts(1) shorter than the warps. A plurality of rubbing piles(118) are formed of rubbing filaments extended from one side of the rubbing fabric and have the density of 25,800 to 35,000 per 1 cm¬2. The direction of the rubbing piles are rearranged to be parallel with the wefts, so that rubbing piles are distributed uniformly.
