<p>PURPOSE: An illumination system and a projection system using the same are provided to improve the color purity by using an LED(Light Emitting Diode) or an LED array. CONSTITUTION: The first, the second, and the third LEDs(10,13,15) are used for emitting beams of different wavelengths, respectively. The first and the second hologram elements(30,35) are arrayed in a shape of X to the first, the second, and the third LEDs(10,13,15). A display device(45) is used for forming an image by processing a beam having a predetermined wavelength received from the same path through the first and the second hologram elements(30,35) according to an input video signal. A projection lens unit(48) is used for magnifying the image formed by the display device(45) and projecting the magnified image to a screen(50).</p> |
