PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cable of seepage control structure which does away with a metal shielding layer, has enough water-shielding property and can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A water-shielding tape 2 made by laminating and integrating a semi-conducting layer, an aluminum layer, a reinforcing layer, and an adhesive layer in that order on a cable core 1 not equipped with a shielding-use metal tape 2 is added longitudinally and wrapped up so that the semi-conductive layer comes on the side of the cable core 1. A sheath 7 is set on the tape 2, to make up a power cable of a structure in which the sheath 7 is adhered with the adhesive layer of the water-shielding tape 1. By making a thickness of the aluminum layer of the water-shielding tape 1 from 15 to 200 μm, high shielding performance and water-shielding performance can both be obtained. |
